What a Weekend!

It sounds like everyone in our little community had quite the weekend. With the Ganza Goers and everyone else. Summer took me Saturday morning to get my FIRST EVER manicure/pedicure. I did have some reservations about the pedicure, just because I have a thing about people touching my feet because they are so super sensitive. So when the little girl started washing my feet and using the scrubber thing I couldn't hardly set still. I kept jerking my foot (not on purpose) and crinkling up my toes because it tickled SO BAD! The overall experience was great though. It was so nice to have my toes and fingers done and not have to worry about one of my children running in and interrupting or messing them up or even spilling whatever bottle I have open! I can see where it would be habit forming! Anyways, ran around with Summer and her boys for a couple of hours after that and that was great to be able to spend time with her! Saturday night the kids and I rented MAD MONEY! It was a good show! We are trying out the REDBOX that is at our McDonalds. Where you rent movies for $1 a day. It works out pretty good. Kind of impressed with it! Yesterday Rick and I went shopping at Walmart. We were out of EVERYTHING. In the afternoon the kids and I put up a hammock on our back deck that I bought years ago and have never taken out of the box. It sits on a frame so we didn't need trees or anything. That is something I could do everyday. Just go out and sit in the sun. I let the kids run through a sprinkler thing I had bought them while I "sunbathed"! Last night they had a Bunko party at the church. It was fun. We didn't get home until 9:30! Chase was one of three that had the most wins so they had a roll off to see who would get the prize. He won so he was way excited and came home with all kinds of crap! Movie certificates, pop, candy & popcorn. He was almost hoarse by the time we got home from yelling all night! Tonight Tori has a ballgame at 7:00. She also plays on Thursday this week. Chase will spend the night with Rick's mom tonight and Tori is spending the night with my Aunt & Cousin one of these nights this week. And of course 4th of July on Friday! I am sooo excited for the 4th this year because Rick is off. He hasn't been home the last 5 years because he has been working on the 4th. So we are cooking out and everything. So now that I have bored you to death I hope you all have a great week!

Friday

I'm sure I have said this in the past 100 times but I am really ready for Friday and the weekend. We have played ball every night this week and finally we are off tonight. I love ball season don't get me wrong, but I am ready to be off! At least we only have 2 games next week. It is starting to get really hot out and I hate for the girls to play when it is so hot! We played last night from 5:30 to 7:00 and it was HOT! The girls have black shirts too! SUCKS! Anyways, running around with Summer Time tomorrow! She is taking me to get my FIRST manicure ever! Can you believe I have NEVER had a manicure or a pedicure??? Maybe take the kiddos swimming, church on Sunday and then a picnic Sunday night! Then it will be time to start all over again! Hard to believe it is almost the 4th of July already!Oh well...Hope you all have a great weekend!

Here are some layouts that I have gotten done recently. Thanks to those new books that I just had to have. It's helped get my creative mojo going again! Had a busy weekend like always but it was a fun one! Went swimming with Summer and her boys and the kids had a great time! It's definantely a busier than busy week with all of Tori's regular games and makeup games that they are trying to fit in this week. Hope you all had a great weekend.

OUCH!!

That is becoming an ongoing statement at my house! Have ya' noticed? It's for a different reason this time! Last night Tori's game was cancelled, AGAIN! They cancelled the make-up game from a previous cancellation! It's getting confusing and before long if the rain doesn't stop, we will be playing until August! SO...after supper last night Chase and I rode our bikes up to Walmart to check somethings out and get a paper! We took the long way home and my heart rate was up for sure! When I got home Rick put the seat I bought for Nate on the back of the bike and decided that we needed to take a family ride to try out the new seat! He took my bike with the seat and I took a new bike that I just bought for Tori! NOW...it is to little for me, obviously, so we raised the seat up as high as it would go so I could ride it! (Are you laughing yet???) We aren't going to far so it can't be that bad, right? Plus it is starting to get dark! So off we go and only 1/2 a block from the house I am feeling it! Nevermind that we raised the seat the damn thing was too little for my big butt! SO...my knees and ass hurt so bad today I can't stand it! I looked like a clown on a mini bike I'm sure! Needless to say I am not doing ANY form of exercise tonight!

THE RAIN! Does it ever stop? I'm beginning to think NOT! I had a great weekend. Friday was just OK since I had to go to the doctor and find out that my nose is fractured and possibly broken. They think the bone is cracked. BECAUSE OF THE BOY! God love him. I think I am going to start having to wear a helmet at home. This is the 3rd time I have been head butted and this time it made an impact. Anyways Saturday I ran around with Tori until about 1:00 and then laid around and went to a friends birthday party! Had a great time and laughed so hard. Sunday spent the morning with Rick until he had to go to work and then picked up house, cooked dinner for my family, me and the kids, mom and dad and Andy & Anya. While dinner was cooking I managed to whip out a scrapbook page with one of my many new books from the Attic that I purchased this weekend. I covered half of the layout in buttons and left it on top of my desk to dry. While we were eating dinner Nate comes out showing Pa a picture and it's my family picture that he has RIPPED off of the layout so he can show the picture to everyone. I think the only reason I kept my cool is because everyone was there. SO...I had to put that back together later in the night. But...here is a picture of the little boy. He is so into my dad's hat. He runs around saying, "Pa's Hat!" so when my dad wasn't around I took a picture of him in it with the pencil in his ear and framed it for my dad for father's day. He loved it! This seems to be a busy week again. Rick is in training this week so I am having to get up and get all the kids around to take them to my moms before I go to work. Tori has ballgames tonight, tomorrow and wednesday night. I don't know if we will play or not since it's non stop rain. Oh well, I hope you all don't melt today! :)~

OK, OK

SO...peeps do still read!! I will try harder then! Last night Tori has a ball game at 7:00! The wind was horrendous! I know I don't have to explain that one to anybody because it blew all day at 50 mph I think. But we were setting on the North side of the field and so it was blowing right in our faces. You didn't hardly want to yell for the girls because the minute you opened your mouth it was full of dirt! But they still won 18-5! After that we went to DQ for ice cream with my parents and Rick's parents because today is his mom's birthday! Then straight home to the bathtub and then bed. Naturally I get to get up and do it all again today! Exact repeat pretty much because Tori has a game at 7:00 again! Except we will probably skip the DQ! We have ice cream at home they can eat! However, I don't think I am getting rid of this headache. Stupid wind!

Hello

I haven't blogged in 3 weeks. Hard to believe. Although I don't know that anybody really reads it anyway. So instead of trying to catch up with all of it here it is in a nut shell. Went to the races (good times like always) softball games, VBS, family stuff and really busy at work. It is our busy season and normally I would blog and catch up at work but it's been kind of hard to do lately. Tori has a ballgame tonight. Makeup games since the last 3 have been rained out. We'll probably be playing ball forever if it keeps getting rained out like this. Stinkin' Kansas weather. Anyways...hope you all are well!
